Coop Norge has recalled Coop Wokmiks Teriyaki 350g in Norway after sesame was found in the dressing sachet but not listed on the ingredient label.

The Coop Recalls notice was issued on 9 March 2026. The product may pose a health risk for people who are allergic to sesame. For consumers without a sesame allergy, the product is considered safe to eat.

The recall affects several batches currently sold in Norwegian stores.

Customers who are allergic to sesame are advised not to eat the product. Shoppers who bought the item can return it to stores and receive a full refund.

The recall applies to Coop Wokmiks Teriyaki 350g with the following best-before dates:

  • 12 March 2026

  • 13 March 2026

  • 14 March 2026

  • 15 March 2026

The issue relates specifically to the dressing sachet included in the wok mix.

According to the company, sesame is present in the dressing but does not appear on the packaging’s ingredient list. Undeclared allergens are treated as a serious food safety risk because they can trigger allergic reactions in sensitive consumers.
