Aldi will roll out its Easter Super Six promotion across the UK from 31 March to 5 April 2026, pricing six vegetable lines at 15p.

The move puts fresh pressure on entry-level pricing in produce just ahead of the Easter shopping period.

Quick note

  • Six Easter veg lines priced at 15p
  • Runs 31 March to 5 April across UK stores
  • Includes potatoes, carrots, onions, swede and parsnips
  • Timed for peak Easter demand

The offer covers basic Easter veg lines.

  • Nature’s Pick British White Potatoes (2kg) drop from £1.32 to 15p.
  • Nature’s Pick British Carrots (1kg) fall from 69p to 15p.
  • Nature’s Pick Brown Onions (1kg) move from 99p to 15p.

British swede, parsnips and XL garlic are also included, all priced at 15p during the promotion window.

Seasonal veg deals like this are a regular part of the UK supermarket playbook, especially around Easter when retailers compete on highly visible staples.

Short-term price cuts in fresh produce are often used to bring shoppers into stores, with the expectation of wider basket spend across other categories.

Aldi said the promotion is supported by fixed-cost agreements with British growers, allowing it to run short-term price cuts while keeping supplier pricing stable.

Why It Matters

Deep price cuts on basic vegetables set the tone for Easter pricing across the UK supermarket market.

These deals are highly visible, often pushing competing retailers to respond in fresh categories where price comparison is immediate.

For suppliers, fixed-cost agreements protect pricing, but concentrate demand into short promotional periods, shifting volume into a few days of heavy trading.

The promotion will run in stores nationwide until 5 April.
