BRADENTON, Florida — Publix has opened a new supermarket in Bradenton, Florida, continuing its expansion across its home state. The new store welcomed customers on June 11 at Northchase Center and becomes the retailer’s 13th location serving the Bradenton area.
The supermarket is located at 16642 State Road 64 East and offers more than 55,000 square feet of retail space. Customers can access a full range of grocery departments, including fresh produce, bakery, deli, meat, seafood, floral, and pharmacy services.
New location supports continued growth
The Bradenton opening forms part of Publix’s ongoing growth strategy across the southeastern United States. The company has additional store openings planned in Florida and Kentucky during the coming weeks as it continues investing in new markets and growing communities.
The new store features Publix’s latest layout, including wider aisles, expanded fresh food departments, and self-checkout options designed to improve convenience for shoppers. A Publix Liquors store is also located adjacent to the supermarket.
Publix remains one of the largest supermarket operators in the United States, with more than 1,400 stores across eight states. Florida continues to be the company’s largest market and a major focus for future expansion.
Population growth and strong consumer demand continue to drive grocery investment across the state. The Bradenton opening strengthens Publix’s local presence while adding additional shopping options for residents in the area.
As competition among grocery retailers continues to increase, new store investments remain an important strategy for expanding market reach and improving customer access to food and pharmacy services. The latest opening reflects continued growth and investment across the US supermarkets sector.
