ALDI SÜD is expanding its product range for the 2025 festive season with a new gift-card offer called “ALDI WISHES.”
The retailer said the universal voucher will be available in all ALDI SÜD stores across Germany from 13 to 27 November 2025, giving shoppers a simple way to buy flexible gifts for family and friends.
The card can be loaded with fixed amounts of €15, €25 or €50, or with a flexible value between €15 and €150.
Each tenth card purchased during the launch period will have its balance doubled as part of an introductory promotion.
The new ALDI SÜD ALDI WISHES vouchers can be redeemed with around 500 partners through aldi-wuensche.de — including major names in technology, fashion, furniture, sport, and entertainment.
Designs include Christmas and birthday themes to position the cards as ready-to-gift items.
According to ALDI SÜD, the service itself is provided by a third-party partner, with redemptions valid until 15 December 2025.
The launch follows the retailer’s continued effort to add new convenience and non-food offers that support its brand visibility during the high-traffic holiday period.
Why It Matters
For the B2B grocery and retail sector, this move highlights how discounters are expanding brand ecosystems beyond groceries.
ALDI SÜD is using its store network and trusted name to enter a cross-industry digital gifting market, linking food retail with e-commerce, entertainment, and lifestyle categories.
Such activity matters for:
Marketing and gift-card suppliers, who see new volume potential through retailer-branded voucher programs.
Packaging and POS partners, as the campaign increases seasonal display demand across 2,000+ ALDI SÜD stores.
Competing grocers, who monitor how ALDI drives customer engagement and basket value through added-service innovation.
By combining in-store reach with digital redemption, ALDI SÜD strengthens customer loyalty and opens new partnership models that could shape German retail innovation in 2025.
