Daily GROUP welcomed a senior delegation from SPAR International on 18 November.
This visit focused on sharing retail expertise, strengthening standards, and reviewing the company’s performance and plans for 2026.
The meeting brought together Paul Smith, Retail Operations Specialist; Jutta Klassen, International HR & Training Manager; and David Moore, International Retail & Development Director.
Daily GROUP said the sessions aimed to align local operations more closely with global best practice.
During the visit, teams discussed current trading results, category trends in the FMCG market, and future development plans across the company’s retail brands.
The delegation also toured eight sites across Tbilisi.
These included company-owned stores, franchise outlets, and several locations operated by leading retailers in the market.
The trip placed particular attention on Daily GROUP’s updated Food To Go concept, which has been rolled out across selected stores.
SPAR International representatives took part in training programmes, Look & Learn sessions, and operational workshops.
Daily GROUP said these sessions were led by Sergey Loktev and focused on practical examples from international markets.
Daily GROUP is one of the largest retail groups in Georgia.
Its portfolio includes Daily, SPAR, Magniti, Gvirila, Yoli, Kalata, and the Zedazeni beer brand.
