The global food ingredients exhibition Fi Europe 2025 will take place from December 2–4, 2025, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, marking its 30th edition. Organized by Informa Markets, this event remains one of the most significant global gatherings for the food ingredient and formulation industries.
More than 1,500 exhibitors and around 25,000 visitors from over 130 countries are expected to attend. Since its start in 1986, Fi Europe has helped food and beverage producers connect with the ingredient suppliers that shape supermarket and brand innovation.
This is not a consumer show. It’s a B2B marketplace where supermarket R&D teams and product developers find new plant proteins, texture agents, natural colors, and sweeteners for future product ranges.
The 2024 edition in Frankfurt introduced a primary Sustainability Theatre, showing how ingredient companies are adapting to net-zero formulation and low-carbon production. The 2025 show in Paris will expand further, adding areas for food technology, automation, packaging, and environmental solutions.
Retail and FMCG professionals benefit from being aware of these trends early. Fi Europe provides them with access to new formulations, upcoming ingredient launches, and market shifts that often appear in supermarkets within one to two years. It’s a practical way to plan product pipelines, compare suppliers, and understand the technologies driving the next wave of food innovation.
The 30th edition will also feature a free-to-attend conference, as well as a celebration and awards evening honoring leading ingredient innovations.
Why It Matters
Events like Fi Europe help you, especially if you are a supermarket buyer, private-label developer, and category manager — stay ahead of change. Knowing which ingredient trends are emerging helps teams plan more effectively, manage costs more efficiently, and develop more sustainable product lines. It’s where many of tomorrow’s food ideas begin.
