Refresco has appointed Minsok Pak as president and chief strategy and transformation officer, placing him in charge of the beverage manufacturer’s global strategy, acquisition programme and business transformation.
Pak took up the newly created position on July 15, 2026. He has joined Refresco’s Executive Committee and reports directly to chief executive Steve Presley.
The appointment comes as the Rotterdam-based company expands its manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities for beverage brands, retailers and private-label customers across North America, Europe and Australia.
Pak will oversee Refresco’s merger and acquisition agenda alongside programmes designed to improve operational performance and commercial effectiveness.
He brings 35 years of experience across consumer goods and retail. Most recently, he served as chief executive of CJ CheilJedang Foods, leading a business operating in more than 75 markets.
His previous roles include senior strategy, transformation and growth positions at Mondelēz International, Target Corporation and CJ Foods. He also worked at the LEGO Group, where he oversaw branded retail and channel development, and spent more than two decades at McKinsey & Company.
The appointment follows Refresco’s acquisition of SunOpta, which expanded its North American presence and added plant-based and protein beverage manufacturing capabilities. The transaction also provided greater access to the foodservice market.
For the Netherlands FMCG sector, the appointment strengthens Refresco’s leadership team as the company pursues growth in outsourced beverage production and supermarket private label.
Refresco employs approximately 16,000 people and produces beverages in formats including cartons, PET bottles, cans and glass. Its portfolio covers carbonated drinks, juices, ready-to-drink teas, mineral water, energy drinks, sports drinks and plant-based beverages.
Pak will now help determine how Refresco develops its manufacturing network, integrates acquisitions and responds to changing demand from retailers and beverage brands.
