The Dutch dairy cooperative Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. has increased its Organic Guaranteed Price for July 2026 by €1.75 to €63.50 per 100 kilograms of milk, reflecting a correction based on milk prices paid by reference companies in a relatively stable northwestern European market.
The company’s Integral Organic Milk Price, which includes sustainability incentives and volume bonuses as well as seasonal deductions and charges, will reach €63.09 per 100 kilograms of milk in July.
The Organic Guaranteed Price is an important benchmark for Europe’s dairy sector because it influences expectations for organic milk procurement costs across the supply chain. Higher farmgate prices can raise costs for processors and retailers sourcing organic milk for branded and private-label products.
For supermarkets, sustained strength in organic milk prices may affect retail pricing, promotional activity and margins in the organic dairy category during the second half of 2026.
For July, the milk price calculation includes a seasonal deduction of €4.00 per 100 kilograms, a maximum Foqus planet sustainability premium of €4.00, a quantity bonus of €0.50 and deductions for programme charges and fixed costs.
FrieslandCampina said the protein value for July stands at €886.62 per 100 kilograms, while the fat value is €709.30 per 100 kilograms.
The cooperative’s average Organic Guaranteed Price for 2026 now stands at €63.61 per 100 kilograms, while the average Integral Organic Milk Price has reached €65.34 per 100 kilograms.
For the Netherlands organic dairy industry, the latest increase highlights the continued strength of organic milk values and the growing importance of managing procurement costs across the supermarket supply chain.
European organic dairy markets have shown signs of stabilisation after several years of inflationary pressures and supply chain disruption. Farmgate milk prices remain closely watched because they can eventually influence procurement costs for organic milk, butter, cheese and other dairy products sold through supermarkets and foodservice channels.
FrieslandCampina members may also receive an additional supplementary cash payment depending on the company’s financial performance and retained earnings policy.
The July increase indicates that organic dairy demand and supply conditions in northwestern Europe remain relatively balanced, although elevated milk prices continue to shape procurement decisions for processors, retailers and private-label suppliers.
