Orkla reported NOK 17.5 billion in operating revenue for the third quarter of 2026. Organic revenue rose 3.1% across its consolidated portfolio companies. Group adjusted operating profit rose 1.9% to NOK 2.1 billion.
Higher volumes and changes in the products sold accounted for 2.7 percentage points of organic growth. Orkla released the results on 6 November.
Orkla is one of Norway’s largest consumer goods companies. Its grocery brands include Grandiosa, Toro and KiMs. Orkla Foods Norge also supplies packaged grocery products for Norwegian retailers.
In September, Orkla Snacks completed its acquisition of The European Candy Group to support the growth of BUBS. The Swedish sweets brand sells pick-and-mix confectionery in bulk and in bags. The two formats give buyers different options: bulk stock for pick-and-mix displays and bags for standard confectionery shelves.
Editor’s Note. Source: Orkla’s 6 November Q3 results and its BUBS acquisition announcement. The 3.1% organic growth figure covers the consolidated portfolio. For confectionery buyers, the question is whether the acquisition expands the BUBS range available to retailers.
Orkla plans to present its targets through 2030 at its Capital Markets Day on 1 December.
