Pernod Ricard has appointed Mauve Croizat as Executive Vice President, Finance & Tech, effective 1 October 2026, as the Paris-based drinks company prepares for the departure of long-serving executive Hélène de Tissot.
Croizat will join Pernod Ricard’s Executive Committee and report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alexandre Ricard. She will first become Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer on 24 August to support the leadership transition.
De Tissot will leave Pernod Ricard on 30 September after 23 years with the company. She is moving to Chanel, where she will become Global Chief Financial Officer.
Croizat has spent almost 20 years with Pernod Ricard, working across finance, business development and general management in France, Sweden and the United States.
Her previous positions include Vice President of Finance and Administration at The Absolut Company and Chief Executive Officer of Pernod Ricard Sweden and Northern Europe. Most recently, she led the rollout of the group’s global transformation programme.
The internal appointment provides continuity for a function covering financial management, technology and wider business transformation. These areas are increasingly connected as international drinks suppliers invest in forecasting, distribution planning, commercial data and more efficient operations.
Pernod Ricard is a major part of the French FMCG industry, supplying supermarkets, wholesalers, specialist drinks retailers, hospitality businesses and travel retail operators across international markets.
Its portfolio includes Absolut vodka, Jameson Irish whiskey, Chivas Regal, Ballantine’s, The Glenlivet, Beefeater gin, Malibu, Havana Club rum, Martell cognac and Mumm and Perrier-Jouët champagnes.
The appointment is relevant to grocery retail because Pernod Ricard’s financial and technology strategy supports investment decisions across its brands, markets and distribution network. Strong demand planning and commercial data can also help suppliers and retailers manage availability, promotions and stock levels more effectively.
Pernod Ricard recorded consolidated sales of €10.96 billion in its 2025 financial year. The company is listed on Euronext Paris and forms part of France’s CAC 40 index.
Croizat will work with de Tissot during the handover before taking full responsibility for the Finance & Tech division on 1 October.
