Snack brand Walkers has recalled its Walkers Hot Honey Crisps 6 pack after it was found that some packs may contain milk that is not declared on the label.
The recall affects products distributed across England, Scotland and Wales. The issue was flagged through an alert published by the Food Standards Agency on 15 March 2026.
According to the notice, some packs may contain Mild Cheese and Onion seasoning, which includes milk. The allergen is not listed on the packaging, creating a potential health risk for people with a milk allergy or intolerance.
Affected products are Walkers Hot Honey Crisps 6 pack (6 x 25g) with batch code GBB 584 031 and best before date 16 May 2026.
Walkers has initiated a product recall and issued point-of-sale notices explaining the issue to customers. The company has also contacted relevant allergy support organisations to inform consumers about the recall.
Customers who have purchased the product and have a milk allergy or intolerance are advised not to eat it. Instead, they should contact Walkers’ consumer care line to receive a full refund.
Food safety alerts of this kind typically require retailers to remove affected items from shelves and inform customers through in-store notices. Products such as Walkers crisps are widely stocked across UK grocery retailers including **Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons.
The Food Standards Agency publishes allergy alerts when food products present a potential risk because of incorrect or missing allergen labelling. In these situations, products may be withdrawn from sale or recalled from consumers.
