Finland retail technology company RELEX Solutions closed 2025 with strong subscription growth and rising customer adoption, as supermarkets and wholesalers increased investment in AI-driven forecasting, replenishment and store planning tools.
The company reported 30% year-on-year subscription revenue growth and a 28% increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) on a constant currency basis. The fourth quarter marked RELEX’s 74th consecutive quarter of ARR growth.
RELEX said demand continued to rise across retail, wholesale and industrial customers, with businesses expanding use of its platform for pricing, promotions, assortment planning, store operations and supply chain coordination.
More than 200 of RELEX’s 700-plus customers now use machine learning-based forecasting tools. The company also reported that 35% of its customer base expanded their contracts during the year, while nearly 100 net new customers were added. More than 300 commercial agreements were signed in total.
The performance underlines the growing role of Finland retail technology providers in shaping supermarket operations across Europe and international markets.
In December 2025, RELEX completed the acquisition of store ordering specialist Ida. The deal strengthens the company’s fresh food capabilities across ambient, fresh and ultra-fresh categories and supports the rollout of its Fresh Store Ordering solution.
AI platform expansion
RELEX continued heavy investment in research and development during 2025, reinvesting close to 25% of revenue into platform development. The company said this has accelerated the rollout of AI-native planning tools designed to automate routine decision-making while keeping human oversight in place.
Its generative AI assistant, Rebot, has become a central access point for planning and analytics. RELEX reported more than 60,000 natural language queries per month, with users accessing data insights, triggering workflows and analysing plans directly through the interface.
The company also expanded its agent-based AI capabilities, allowing customers to deploy automated agents for routine planning tasks, risk detection and operational support. New diagnostic tools were introduced to prioritise actions and reduce response time across store and supply chain teams.
A new deal management platform was also launched, bringing supplier agreements, promotional planning and budgeting into a single collaborative workflow used by retailers and manufacturers.
Manufacturing and supply chain growth
Beyond retail, RELEX reported continued growth in its manufacturing segment. Tools focused on demand sensing, scenario modelling and AI-driven production planning supported customers operating complex supply networks with volatile demand patterns.
Direct access to sell-through data from retail partners and in-platform collaboration tools helped support both new customer wins and contract expansions.
RELEX said it plans to continue scaling its AI platform throughout 2026, with a focus on automation, decision accuracy and operational performance across store networks and supply chains.
